1 free pumpkin per family member, food and drinks will be provided. Event is free for those who register by above deadlines, or $5.00 per family at the door. All pumpkins carved will be entered into the Pumpkin Carving Contest and placed on the Candlelit Pumpkin Path for all to see at the Eerie Halloween Event!

All carved pumpkins can be picked up to sit on your porch Monday 9 am to 4 pm. Remaining pumpkins will be donated to a local hungry & thankful pigs.

Come out and join us in some community spirit, fellowship and fundraising at this year’s Eerie Canal Towpath Run. Our run is hosted by: The Chittenango Rotary Club, The Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum, and The Town of Sullivan Parks and Recreation Department.

Join us on Saturday 10/21/17- REGISTER HERE

Time: 11am-2:30pm on a Saturday (3.5hr cut off time), 11am= 15mile run start, 11:30am= 5K start, 11:45= 2 mile walk start

Registration and packet pick up: 9:30am-10:45am on 10/21/17

*Online registration closes on 10/15

 

Post Race Events

Post-Race Pasta and Meatball Dinner (also includes salad and dessert)
Location:
Chittenango American Legion (707 Legion Dr), 12 – 3pm.
$7 for kids (12 and under), Veterans, and Seniors (65 and over),
$10 for adults,
$25 for family of 4 or more

Post-Race Eerie Halloween Event (3-7pm after the race)
In conjunction with the Eerie Canal Towpath Run by the Sullivan Parks and Rec Dept andChittenango Landing.  More details coming soon!

Demonstration of the traditional art and trade using Erie Canal era tools and techniques. Blacksmiths bend and forge material into distinctive and practical metal pieces while sharing legends and lore.   Free with admission
